Google Search Introduces Easier Personal Data Removal Process

Google has introduced an updated and more streamlined process for removing personal data from search results, improving the Results About You feature. This enhancement makes it easier for users to request the removal of sensitive information directly from search results.

What's New?

How It Works

If you've deleted or updated information on a website, but Google Search still shows old data, a manual refresh can prompt Google to recrawl the page and update its index with the latest content.

Availability Issues

Despite these improvements, the Results About You tool remains unavailable in Malaysia. Google has yet to confirm which regions will receive the feature next or provide a timeline for its expansion.
