CBOD4103 Mobile Programming Apps
This is an OUM CBOD4103 subject assignment submission. The purpose of this assignment is to familiarize students with a simple User-Interface for mobile users and developing a medium-level application program running on Android. The animation program is to expose the student on how to develop different types of basic animation program that gives higher quality look and feel.
A significant focus of this assignment is on the implementation of animation programs, which play a critical role in enhancing user engagement and delivering a visually appealing experience. By working on this project, students are expected to explore the fundamental concepts of animation, learn how to create different types of basic animations, and understand their application in improving the overall look and feel of an Android app. This exposure aims to equip students with the skills required to develop applications that meet higher standards of quality in both design and functionality, fostering a deeper understanding of mobile application development.
Enhance Windows Boot Experience
I developed a custom VB.NET application to enhance Windows startup by automating essential tasks and addressing specific issues. The app features a fullscreen black overlay that blocks user interaction during startup, ensuring all system components load properly. It mounts my G drive as a blank drive to prevent other devices from taking its letter, essential for game scripts. The sleek loading screen includes a dot animation with a reassuring message. It also configures my Sound Blaster AE-5 audio setup automatically, eliminating manual adjustments. Additionally, it hides system-generated INI and INF files to keep my photo albums visually clean. By executing batch files and using timers for precise control, the app streamlines processes and ensures a polished experience. This project showcases the flexibility of VB.NET and my ability to create tailored solutions to enhance productivity and address unique challenges.
Final Fantasy 7 Launcher
This Final Fantasy VII App Launcher is a streamlined Windows application designed to automate the process of mounting the necessary game disc image, launching 7th Heaven (a mod manager for FF7), and unmounting the disc upon exit. The launcher automatically mounts Disc 1 using PowerShell commands, avoiding manual disc swapping. It then launches 7th Heaven with predefined arguments to load a default profile, start the game, and quit automatically. The program ensures a clean experience by minimizing the application window and unmounting the disc once 7th Heaven closes. Built as a lightweight Windows GUI application, it removes unnecessary UI elements like buttons, centering itself on the screen while handling errors gracefully. This solution is ideal for players looking for a one-click setup to launch their modded FF7 without additional input.
Legacy HIS Database Query
Addressing a Crisis in Healthcare IT - A few months ago, I had the opportunity to assist a healthcare organization grappling with a significant challenge. Their legacy Hospital Information System (HIS) had become inoperative due to technical failures, and their vendor had abandoned the project, leaving them without any support. The organization faced the daunting task of accessing critical clinical records and billing information trapped in the defunct system.
Understanding the gravity of the situation, I began analyzing the database schema and creating an intuitive and efficient solution. The result was a custom-built C# application that could extract critical data such as patient records, lab results, imaging reports, and procedural details. This application has since become an essential tool for the organization.

Lemon Onion Browser
Lemon Onion Browser is a self-developed, Chromium-based web browser designed for private, secure access to the dark web and .onion sites. Built with a strong emphasis on user control and transparency, it routes traffic through a personally managed US-based proxy, offering a streamlined alternative to traditional Tor setups. With built-in privacy features, profile isolation, stealth mode, and Torch set as the default search engine, Lemon Onion Browser provides a fast, reliable, and anonymous browsing experience — ideal for researchers, cybersecurity professionals, or anyone seeking to explore the hidden web safely and confidently.
Monitor Switcher Application
Switching between two monitors used to require tedious manual adjustments for displays and audio devices, making the process cumbersome and time-consuming. To simplify this, I developed a Windows C# program that automates the entire process. Using nircmd commands, it seamlessly switches audio outputs to match the selected monitor and includes a helpful prompt reminding me to ensure the second monitor is powered on before switching.
The program also integrates with Rainmeter, automatically adjusting layouts to suit the active monitor. It offers a productivity-focused layout for work and a dedicated setup for entertainment, such as gaming or media. This streamlined solution allows me to switch setups effortlessly with a single click, saving time and creating a more efficient and adaptive workspace.
VMware macOS Ventura
Running macOS Ventura (Mac OS 13) on a Windows 11 machine through VMware opens up a whole new world for users who need access to Mac-only applications without investing in Apple hardware. With the help of a macOS Unlocker for VMware and some essential custom configurations—like adjusting the virtual network adapter and enabling support for macOS—the process becomes surprisingly achievable. A pre-configured VMDK file makes the setup even easier, allowing users to boot into a fully working macOS environment with minimal hassle. Just plug in your own Apple ID, and you’re ready to explore the Apple ecosystem from your Windows PC.
