Gaming and music have always been inseparable. One game that stood out in both gameplay and music was Earthworm Jim, and today, I'm excited to share my guitar cover of one of its most iconic tracks: "Use Your Head" from the Buttville level!
Why Earthworm Jim?
Earthworm Jim (1994) was a game like no other—quirky, action-packed, and hilariously over-the-top. Developed by Shiny Entertainment, it followed the adventures of Jim, a regular earthworm who became a super-powered hero thanks to a robotic suit. The game was known for its surreal humor, challenging levels, and, of course, its fantastic soundtrack.
One of the standout tracks was "Use Your Head", composed by the legendary Tommy Tallarico. This track plays during the Buttville level—an infamous, spike-covered, nerve-wracking final stage that tested the patience of many players. The music captured the intensity of the level perfectly, blending a sense of urgency with high-energy rhythms.
