It has been a substantial period since the last update on my blog—nearly five years to be exact. As we embark on a new chapter of digital engagement, I find it important to address the reasons behind this hiatus and share the exciting plans I have for revitalizing this platform.
Reasons for the Hiatus
The absence of updates on my blog since 2019 has been a result of several intertwined factors. Primarily, my professional life underwent significant changes during this period. My role in my current workplace demanded a considerable amount of my time and energy. The challenges of building an IT team and IT systems and managing complex projects such as satellite-based mobile communication systems, IT Asset Management solutions and terrestrial cellular systems required intense focus and dedication.
Moreover, I have been deeply involved in several other professional and academic projects. From working on IT Asset Management (ITAM) projects and implementing Snipe-IT to exploring research methodologies and contributing to my Final Year Project paper, my schedule became increasingly filled with responsibilities that took precedence over my blog.
Another reason for the hiatus was a shift in priorities. As I delved deeper into my work and academic pursuits, I found that my personal time was increasingly dedicated to ensuring that my professional and academic commitments were met with the highest standards. This natural shift in focus inadvertently led to the neglect of my blog.
The Road Ahead
Despite these challenges, I am thrilled to announce that I am ready to return to active blogging. The time away has provided me with fresh perspectives and new insights that I am eager to share with you. I have been working on a range of intriguing topics that align with my interests and expertise, including ITIL, IT Asset Management (ITAM), and advanced communication systems.
