Lemon Web-TV has received another important update, with the biggest change happening behind the scenes. We have moved the service to a different streaming source in an effort to improve playback reliability, simplify future maintenance, and provide a cleaner viewing experience across desktop and mobile devices.
The familiar Lemon Web-TV interface remains in place, but the way live broadcasts are loaded and displayed has been reworked significantly.
A New Streaming Source Behind the Existing Interface
Although the streaming source has changed, users can still access Lemon Web-TV in the same familiar way. Channels continue to appear in the channel guide, and viewers can select a station, move between channels, open fullscreen mode, or return to the main listing.
Most of the changes are technical and happen quietly in the background. The goal is to keep the overall experience simple while giving Lemon Web-TV a more flexible foundation for future updates.
TV3 Is Currently the Only Confirmed Working Channel
At the moment, TV3 appears to be the only channel working properly with the updated setup.
The remaining channels may still appear in the Lemon Web-TV listing, but some streams are currently unavailable, incompatible with the new player arrangement, or require further testing and adjustment before they can be considered reliable.
Rather than removing everything immediately, we are keeping the channel structure in place while checking each stream individually. Availability may therefore change as additional channels are tested, repaired, or replaced with compatible sources.
Cleaner Video Framing
One of the main improvements in this update is the way the embedded broadcast is presented.
External streaming pages often include headers, menus, channel-selection buttons, article content, and other webpage elements around the actual video. Lemon Web-TV now applies carefully adjusted positioning and responsive cropping to focus on the broadcast area while hiding most of the unnecessary surrounding content.
The result is a cleaner presentation that feels closer to a dedicated television player instead of a complete external webpage displayed inside Lemon Web-TV.
Improved Desktop and Mobile Compatibility
The player has also been adjusted for different screen sizes and orientations.
On desktop browsers, the broadcast is enlarged and centred while maintaining its original widescreen proportions. On mobile devices, the video automatically adapts depending on whether the phone is being used in portrait or landscape mode.
Landscape mode generally provides the best viewing experience because it closely matches the television broadcast's widescreen format. Portrait mode keeps the complete video visible, with black space above and below rather than cutting away important areas of the picture.
Some slight visual differences may still occur between browsers, devices, and individual channels because each external streaming page can use a different layout.
Playback Controls Remain Available
The embedded stream starts automatically where browser permissions allow it. As with most modern browsers, autoplay usually begins muted, and users may need to tap the speaker control inside the player to enable sound.
Fullscreen, playback, volume, and other available controls are supplied by the embedded video player itself. Lemon Web-TV's own interface continues to provide channel navigation, the channel guide, fullscreen access, and a quick way to close the current broadcast.
More Testing Is Still Needed
This update should be considered an important technical transition rather than the final stage of the Lemon Web-TV rebuild.
TV3 is currently the main working channel, while the other listed stations still require further testing. Some may return after small configuration changes, while others may need entirely different stream links or alternative playback arrangements.
The channel lineup will be updated gradually as stable and compatible streams become available.
