Lenovo Legion Glasses Gen 2 Launch in Malaysia at RM1,799

Lenovo has officially brought its Legion Glasses Gen 2 to Malaysia, giving local gamers and tech enthusiasts a new way to enjoy immersive big-screen experiences—without an actual TV or monitor. Priced at RM1,799, the second generation of the wearable display is now available through Lenovo's online store, with retail availability set for mid-October.

What's New in Gen 2

First revealed earlier this year, the Legion Glasses Gen 2 builds on the original 2023 model. While the core idea remains the same—a wearable display that connects via USB-C—the new version is sleeker and less bulky, making it easier to wear in public without drawing too much attention.

At its heart is the familiar micro-OLED display technology, capable of delivering a virtual Full HD screen equivalent to 126 inches. That means you can plug into a phone, laptop, or handheld console and instantly enjoy a cinematic-scale experience, all through a lightweight pair of glasses.

A New 3D Gaming Mode

One of the biggest additions to Gen 2 is the introduction of a free 3D Mode. This feature allows the glasses to convert 2D games into stereoscopic 3D, opening up a more immersive way to play. Lenovo says that more than 20 games are supported at launch, with the list expected to grow over time.

While the company hasn't released the full lineup of compatible titles, the promise of turning ordinary games into eye-popping 3D experiences could make the Legion Glasses Gen 2 a standout accessory for gamers looking for something new.

Availability and Price in Malaysia

The Lenovo Legion Glasses Gen 2 is now officially on sale in Malaysia at RM1,799. For early adopters, Lenovo is offering a 10% discount through its official online store. Physical retail availability will follow in mid-October, giving buyers the option to try before they buy.

Why It Matters

Wearable display glasses are still a niche product, but with Gen 2, Lenovo seems to be refining its formula. By making the design more discreet and introducing 3D conversion features, the Legion Glasses Gen 2 could appeal to both gamers and frequent travelers who want a portable entertainment setup.

For those who don't have space for a giant TV—or just want to game on the go—the Legion Glasses Gen 2 provides a futuristic alternative at a price point that's more affordable than many premium monitors or VR headsets.
