TM Rebrands Its Unifi Mobile App: Say Hello to “Unifi Universe”

Telekom Malaysia (TM) is taking a bold step toward unifying its digital services by giving its Unifi Mobile app a fresh identity. The app is now officially rebranded as "Unifi Universe"—and it's not just a name change. With it comes a range of new features designed to make your experience with TM's services smoother and more centralized.

A One-Stop Hub for Mobile and Broadband

One of the biggest highlights of Unifi Universe is that it brings together both mobile and broadband services under one roof. That's right—you can now manage your Unifi Mobile plans and broadband subscriptions using a single app.

But before you go deleting your old apps, there's a small catch.

Not Everyone Gets the Full Package… Yet

Currently, the broadband management feature on Unifi Universe is only available to new Unifi Home and Unifi Air customers—specifically those who signed up on or after 17 March 2025. If you're an existing broadband user, you'll still be using the MyUnifi app for now. TM hasn't shared a timeline on when this will change, but it's clear that Unifi Universe is being positioned as the future of their digital customer experience.

What's New Inside the Universe?

The revamped app doesn't just come with a fancy new name—it brings new tools and sections to enhance your user journey.

All-in-One Access

Unifi Universe now includes access to the All-in-One package, covering Home, Mobile, TV, and Lifestyle services. This means fewer apps, fewer logins, and a more seamless experience for users who subscribe to multiple TM services.

A New Shopping Section

Need to upgrade your plan, grab a new device, or just browse some Unifi offerings? There's now a dedicated shopping tab within the app, making it easier to explore and purchase new products or services directly from your phone.

Pay for Others, Get Support Instantly

Another thoughtful addition is the "Pay for Others" feature—perfect for family members managing multiple accounts or even those helping out friends. And if you run into any issues, the Support button offers instant assistance right within the app.


So, What Happens to the MyUnifi App? 

Given TM's clear direction with Unifi Universe, it seems inevitable that the MyUnifi app will be phased out eventually. That said, there's no official word yet on when this transition will happen. For now, existing broadband users will need to juggle between the two apps depending on their registration date.
