Google Earth has quietly added Flight Simulator mode to its web version, giving users a new way to explore the planet directly from their browser. While many people may immediately think of Microsoft Flight Simulator when it comes to virtual flying, Google Earth has actually had its own flight simulator feature for many years.

Anthropic has suspended access to its newly launched Claude Fable 5 and the more advanced Mythos 5 model after receiving an export control directive from the US government. The move comes only days after Fable 5 was introduced, making the restriction especially significant for customers, researchers, developers, and companies that were expecting to use the latest model. According to Anthropic, the directive requires the company to block access to both Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all foreign nationals, regardless of where they are physically located.

Disney is slowly reshaping the future of its streaming business, and Hulu appears to be moving closer to becoming part of Disney+ in a much bigger way. After years of operating as separate platforms, Disney+ and Hulu are now being brought together more closely. The Walt Disney Company completed its full takeover of Hulu in June 2025, following a merger process that had been in motion since 2023. Not long after that, Disney confirmed that Hulu would eventually be phased into Disney+ as part of a broader plan to create a single, unified streaming experience.

Malaysia's National Artificial Intelligence Office, better known as NAIO, is set to be officially institutionalised on 28 July 2026. The announcement was made by Digital Minister Gobind Singh Deo, who said the move will give NAIO a more formal role in shaping the country's artificial intelligence direction.
