Microsoft is Experimenting with iPhone Integration on Windows 11

Microsoft is gradually rolling out iPhone integration for Windows 11 to Windows Insiders in the Dev and Beta Channels. Previously limited to Android users, this update introduces a side panel in the Start menu, enabling quick access to iPhone battery status, messages, calls, and a convenient file transfer toggle.

Microsoft is also enhancing file-sharing capabilities between Windows PCs and mobile devices. First introduced in a December preview, this feature lets users send files directly from the Start menu via the "Send files" option. To access these new features, users need Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 4805 or later in the Beta Channel, or Build 26120.3000 or later in the Dev Channel. Additionally, Phone Link version 1.24121.30.0 or newer, a Microsoft account signed into the PC, and Bluetooth LE support are required. However, Microsoft has not provided a timeline for when the iPhone integration will be available to the public.
