Windows 11 has picked up a couple of storage-related improvements that may not sound dramatic at first, but they actually fix two long-standing frustrations that many users have quietly put up with for years. One is the sluggish performance in the Storage settings page when checking drive details, especially on larger drives. The other is Microsoft finally loosening an old FAT32 formatting restriction that never really made much sense in modern computing.

There was a point when Microsoft seemed ready to place Copilot almost everywhere inside Windows 11. It was presented as a major part of the company's AI future, with plans to weave it into core parts of the operating system such as Settings, notifications, and File Explorer. At the time, the message was clear: Copilot was supposed to become a more visible and more deeply embedded assistant across the Windows experience.

Another Patch Tuesday, another round of Windows 11 complaints. That has become a familiar pattern by now. Whenever Microsoft pushes out a fresh monthly update, it usually does not take long for reports of strange bugs, broken features, and unexpected system behavior to start appearing online. So when some users recently found themselves unable to access the C drive on certain Windows 11 systems, many naturally assumed Microsoft had broken something again.

Windows 11 upgrades are supposed to be boring. You click update, it restarts a few times, and you get back to work. But for a small group of users, the experience has reportedly been the exact opposite: upgrade completes, Windows loads… and suddenly the machine can't get online through Ethernet.
