Bridging the gap between Metroid Prime and Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, it brought the series' signature atmosphere, exploration, and combat into a fully portable format without losing any of its depth or ambition.

In 2002, Nintendo R&D1 brought the Metroid series into the handheld era with Metroid Fusion on the Game Boy Advance. Far from a simple portable spinoff, this entry delivered one of the most gripping and story-driven experiences in the entire franchise. Blending exploration, tension, and cinematic storytelling, it redefined what a handheld adventure could be.

When Super Metroid arrived on the Super Nintendo in 1994, it wasn't just another sequel — it was a revolution. Developed by Nintendo R&D1, this landmark title perfected the balance between exploration, atmosphere, and action, shaping what would later be known as the Metroidvania genre.

Ubisoft has brought back the legendary Prince of Persia franchise in a bold and stylish way with The Lost Crown, and this time, it's available across multiple platforms—including iOS. I recently had the chance to try out the game on my iPad Mini 6, and here's a full write-up of my experience.
