Recreating that kind of rhythm-focused track on guitar presents a unique challenge, but it is also incredibly rewarding when the groove starts to come together.

For this cover, I decided to take a slightly different route by performing the guitar solo using a clean tone, stripping away distortion to focus purely on phrasing, timing, and feel.

Cromok's I Don't Belong Here is known for its raw aggression and heavy metal intensity. It's a song filled with emotion, frustration, and power—exactly the kind of track you'd expect to hear through distorted guitars and pounding drums. That's what made this cover idea interesting: what happens when you strip all of that away and play it on a ukulele?
