YouTube Premium Lite appears to be making its way to Malaysia, giving local users a cheaper entry point into YouTube's paid subscription ecosystem. The plan has reportedly started appearing for selected Malaysian accounts, with the monthly price listed at RM12.90. That places it at the same price as YouTube's existing Student plan, but the two subscriptions are not actually the same in terms of what users get.
