Microsoft Corp is planning to outsource more of its software sales for small and medium-sized businesses to third-party firms, adapting its sales strategy for the evolving landscape shaped by artificial intelligence (AI).

Microsoft is once again moving forward with the rollout of Windows Recall, its AI-powered feature designed to help users retrieve past activity and data using natural language. After previous delays and setbacks—including a security vulnerability that halted initial testing—Windows Recall is now being gradually reintroduced to users in the Windows Insider program.

Microsoft appears to be making strides in addressing some long-standing complaints about Windows 11, particularly the Start menu, which has been a frequent target of user feedback. The latest Windows 11 preview build hints at a substantial redesign that focuses on layout improvements and increased customization.
