KPDN Officers Now Have the Right to Check IDs for Petrol Subsidy Enforcement

The Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN) is stepping up its efforts to ensure Malaysia's new targeted petrol subsidy system works as intended. According to Kuala Lumpur KPDN director Mohd Sabri Seman, enforcement officers have now been granted legal authority to check the identification cards (MyKad) of motorists at petrol stations.
