Apple's Shortcuts app has always been one of the most powerful tools on the iPhone, but also one of the most underused. On paper, it sounds brilliant. You can automate tasks, connect different apps together, create custom actions, and make your iPhone behave more like a personal assistant. In reality, many users open Shortcuts once, feel overwhelmed, and never touch it again.

Apple is reportedly preparing a major AI-focused overhaul of Siri, and privacy may become one of the biggest selling points of the new experience. The refreshed assistant is expected to be introduced during WWDC 2026 in June, where Apple is likely to show how Siri will evolve from a traditional voice assistant into something closer to a modern AI chatbot.

For a while now, Apple has been teasing a future where Siri finally feels less like a voice-controlled shortcut button and more like a genuinely helpful assistant. The kind that understands what you mean, remembers what matters (in a privacy-friendly way), and can actually do things across your apps without you having to babysit every step.

Apple has rolled out iOS 26.3 for iPhone, and it's one of those updates that doesn't scream "big new feature" at first glance, but ends up smoothing out a few everyday annoyances. It's also the third major update in the iOS 26 cycle, landing after iOS 26.2 in December and iOS 26.2.1 in January.

When you see the name Apple Intelligence, you might think about a self-contained "Apple AI". But appearances are shifting. What once looked like an in-house platform is evolving into something more collaborative—an ecosystem of artificial intelligence tools from different developers, brought together under Apple's software umbrella.
