In this assignment, we will evaluate two websites, the CUNY Graduate Centre and OUM, based on their usability and user experience goals, design principles, and effectiveness. I have been exploring the features and potential applications of the new Google Cloud Vision API, a powerful tool for analyzing visual data. This exploration led me to develop the LEMON FACE-APP, a simple yet effective application designed to detect and analyze facial expressions. The app focuses on emotions like Happiness, Anger, Sorrow, Surprise, and Confidence, providing a detailed breakdown of the expressions it detects. This has given me an excellent hands-on opportunity to understand the workings of the API and experiment with its capabilities in a practical project.

Maintaining a high Service Level Agreement (SLA) uptime percentage is essential for businesses that rely on digital services. The downtime calculator I use is an indispensable tool for generating accurate and insightful yearly SLA reports. With its ability to compute uptime percentages based on downtime inputs in days, hours, and minutes, this calculator ensures that I have precise metrics to present to stakeholders. It simplifies the process of tracking service performance, enabling me to quickly determine how well my systems are adhering to industry standards and internal benchmarks.
