Telekom Malaysia (TM) has given its Unifi TV service a fresh new look—and for the first time, it's available to everyone, not just Unifi broadband subscribers. The move marks a big shift for TM as it opens up its streaming platform and app to all Malaysians, regardless of their internet provider.
Subscriptions are now contract-free and start as low as RM8 per month, making Unifi TV one of the most affordable streaming options in the country.
Free Access to Kick Things Off
To celebrate the relaunch, TM is offering 30 days of complimentary access to the new Unifi TV. That means subscribers can enjoy 15 popular streaming services—including Disney+ Hotstar, HBO Max, Viu, and iQiyi—alongside 73 premium channels at no cost.
Even non-Unifi customers are being welcomed onboard with free access to 19 premium channels during the trial period, letting them experience what the platform has to offer before committing.
Build Your Own Entertainment Pack
Unlike the old days of fixed channel bundles, the new Unifi TV embraces flexibility with its "pick and mix" approach. Users can now tailor their entertainment line-up by selecting only the apps and channels they truly want.
For those who prefer pre-curated packages, TM has created themed packs such as Wira, Ying Xiong, Veeran, and Kids. Meanwhile, the all-in-one Super Star Pack offers the full experience, bundling major streaming apps together with every premium channel.
A Smarter, All-in-One Hub
TM has also redesigned the Unifi TV app into a true entertainment hub. The refreshed app comes with personalized recommendations, a universal search feature that works across all subscribed services, and the ability to create watchlists that sync instantly across devices.
This means whether you're watching on a Unifi TV box, your smartphone, tablet, or smart TV, your experience will stay seamless.
How to Get Started
Anyone can now download the new Unifi TV 2.0 app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. From there, users can explore available packs, pricing, and subscription options directly within the app or through TM's official website.
With this major revamp, TM is clearly stepping into the broader streaming market, offering Malaysians more choice, flexibility, and value than ever before.
