Naughty Dog just dropped The Last of Us Part II Remastered for PC last week, and I couldn't resist jumping in right away. Considering the rough launch history of Part I on PC, I went in expecting some headaches—but to my surprise, this time things were vastly different. Smooth gameplay, polished optimization, and new features made this one of the best post-apocalyptic gaming sessions I've had in a while.

Let's talk about the good ol' RTX 3070—my trusty 8GB VRAM workhorse that's been powering my rig for a while now. In 2025, with all the hype surrounding the RTX 50 series, I figured it was time to check if the 3070 still holds up—especially for 1080p gaming.

The legendary Half-Life 2 just got an RTX makeover – and like any tech-curious gamer with a decent rig, I had to try it out. With ray tracing, global illumination, shiny new textures, and all the eye-candy you can imagine, it should be a feast for the senses. But after spending some time with it, let's just say… I walked away more puzzled than impressed. 

If you're playing Indiana Jones and the Great Circle and running into frequent crashes—especially with a graphics card like the RTX 3070 or 3060—you're not alone. Despite being powerful GPUs, the 8GB VRAM limitation seems to be causing instability in this game under certain settings. I ran into this issue myself, and after some digging and testing, I finally found the fix that made the game smooth and stable.

While the world holds its breath for Doom: The Dark Ages, I figured—why not go back to where the real carnage lives? So I fired up Brutal Doom v21, loaded up Doom II, and ran it through Zandronum using OpenGL rendering on my trusty RTX 3070. The result? A glorious mess of blood, bullets, and better gameplay than Doom Eternal could ever dream of.
